Day 1: Arrival in Umbria and accommodation in accommodation (agritourism / 3 * Hotel), free lunch and autonomous visit of Perugia.
Perugia, the capital of the Umbria region, is worth a visit not only for the beauty of its hilly position, but also for its beautiful old buildings. Before passing under Roman rule, ancient Perusia was one of the twelve cities of the Etruscan federation and significant tracts of the Etruscan walls have been preserved, which extended for 2,800 meters around the town. Day 2: Visit of Gubbio - Visit to the winery with lunch and 360 ° tasting
Gubbio is one of the oldest Umbrian cities. Here you can breathe history from every stone and there are many traces of its glorious past: the Roman Theater of the 1st century AD, the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo which dominates the city and houses the remains of the saint, patron saint of Gubbio, the Gothic Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria Nuova which houses the fresco "The Madonna del Belvedere" by Ottaviano Nelli, master painter and illuminator who reveals his birth in Gubbio. In the Palazzo dei Consoli, seat of the Civic Art Gallery, we find the "Tavole Eugubine", seven bronze tablets bearing inscriptions in Umbrian characters from the III and II centuries BC. and Latin characters of the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, very important documents for the history of the Italic peoples.
